Account Manager Telecommunications
We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to lead and grow one of our key telecom client relationships in the UK/Ireland region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in consultative sales, strategic account development, and long-term revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a major telecom client, fostering deep, trust-based relationships across all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
- Revenue Growth: Drive profitable quarter-on-quarter revenue growth through strategic planning, upselling, and cross-selling within the account.
- Consultative Selling: Apply a solution-oriented approach to understand client needs and deliver tailored offerings that add value and strengthen the partnership.
- Strategic Coordination: Collaborate internally across teams to ensure alignment on client strategy, consistent messaging, and effective knowledge sharing.
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage the assigned account as a strategic asset, with full responsibility for its performance, growth, and long-term success.
- Business Development: Act as both a hunter and gatherer—identify new opportunities within the account while nurturing and expanding existing business.
- Account Expansion: Proactively seek ways to increase account share and influence, positioning our solutions as integral to the client's success.
- Strategic alignment: Focus on growth and transformation, cost and optimization, and improving operational efficiencies to solve their customer's business and organizational issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing large strategic accounts and delivering sustained revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making environments.
- Technical acumen to understand and articulate telecom solutions in a business context.
- Experience working in or with the UK/Ireland telecom market is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
