About the Role
As an Onboarding Specialist at Travelnest, your primary mission is simple and critical: to grow our number of bookable properties.
This is a commercially focused, consultative sales role where you’ll work directly with holiday let owners to guide them from initial interest through to becoming fully live, optimised, and bookable on our platform. While this is not a hard-sell environment, it does require strong sales capability, confident objection handling, and the ability to influence decisions through expert, customer-first conversations.
You’ll spend the majority of your time engaging new customers, while also reactivating existing hosts and supporting any initiatives that directly impact bookable supply. From first conversation to listing optimisation, you’ll own the onboarding journey before handing customers over to our Performance Specialists for long-term growth.
This role suits someone who is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and motivated by outcomes, with minimal need for day-to-day management.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive new bookable supply: Engage prospective hosts through outbound calls, email, WhatsApp, and Google Meet to complete sign-up and convert them into verified, bookable properties.
- Consultative selling & objection handling: Understand each host’s goals and address concerns using proven sales techniques to guide confident decision-making.
- Optimise listings before handover: Support hosts through a listing optimisation process during onboarding, ensuring they are well-positioned for success before transitioning to a Performance Specialist.
- Re-engage existing customers: Reach out to hosts who are inactive or unbookable, identifying blockers and helping them get live again on the platform.
- Own your pipeline and performance: Manage your workload independently across multiple workstreams, prioritising activity that directly impacts bookable property numbers.
- Support wider growth initiatives: Contribute to campaigns or tasks that support supply growth and improve overall platform performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong sales background: Proven experience in sales with a solid understanding of sales techniques and confident objection handling. Experience in consultative or solution-based selling is highly beneficial.
- Results-driven and commercially minded: Motivated by impact and outcomes, with a clear focus on growing bookable supply.
- High attention to detail: Careful, accurate, and thorough when supporting customers through onboarding and optimisation.
- Self-managed and dependable: Comfortable managing your own time, priorities, and pipeline with minimal supervision.
- Customer-first mindset: Able to balance commercial goals with honest, helpful advice that builds trust and long-term value.
- Tech confident: Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital communication tools.
