Senior Management Accountant

Our client based in West London are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance leader with a strategic mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced IT environment.

You will be confident managing people, processes, and performance, and able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Salary £60-70k pending experience

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities.

Manage and mentor the finance team to deliver departmental goals.

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.

Drive budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with department heads.

Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for strategic planning.

Ensure robust financial controls and regulatory compliance.

Partner with non-finance teams to improve financial literacy across the business.

Support external audits and statutory account preparation.

Key Requirements:

Must have experience in working within the IT sector - (IT Managed Services, IT sales companies, IT Manufactures, etc.

Unfortunately candidates without this background will not be considered.

Must have managed a finance team - currently a team of 3.

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.

Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.

Advanced Excel and experience with finance systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
