£50,000 – £55,000 + BENEFITS

We’re helping a pioneering technology engineering firm find a hands-on Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. With a focus on electrification, connectivity, and analytics, they’re helping industries like motorsport and transport become more efficient and sustainable.

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Experience in group finance or month-end reporting
• Proactive mindset – comfortable improving processes and mentoring others

THE ROLE

• Support month-end close and reporting across the group
• Prepare tax accruals, prepayments, and stock analysis
• Reconcile balance sheets and intercompany accounts
• Lead supplier payment runs and manage cash flow
• Oversee monthly payroll reporting
• Support the year-end audit and tax filings
• Assist with group consolidations and statutory accounts
• Manage and support a small team (AP, AR, and US reporting)
• Monitor controls and ensure compliance with HMRC and accounting standards
• Work with senior finance to identify efficiencies and drive improvement

YOUR PROFILE

• Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
• Effective communicator – written & verbal
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting tools
• Comfortable managing junior colleagues and taking initiative

SALARY & BENEFITS

• £50,000 – £55,000 + benefits
• 3 days in the Woking office, 2 remote
• Permanent, full-time position
