A well-established international organisation operating within the market research and data solutions sector is expanding its commercial presence across the UK and Ireland. The business supports leading global enterprises with high-quality recruitment and sampling solutions and is now looking to strengthen its sales team with a dedicated Business Development Manager .

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, curious, and motivated by growing new business within complex B2B environments.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving commercial growth across the UK & Ireland enterprise market. You will focus on building new relationships, managing structured outbound activity, onboarding clients, and supporting the expansion of a digital B2B research platform.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Prospecting

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage senior decision-makers.

  • Build a strong pipeline of enterprise clients across the UK & Ireland.

  • Run targeted email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns using modern engagement tools.

Client Engagement & Onboarding

  • Deliver product demonstrations and guide clients through the onboarding process.

  • Support prospects in understanding the full capabilities of the research platform.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions in the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe.

Account Management

  • Maintain long-term client relationships and act as their primary point of contact.

  • Monitor account performance and ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Collaborate internally with sales, operations, and product teams.

Operational & CRM Management

  • Manage all sales activity and pipeline tracking through CRM systems (experience with any CRM required; Zoho CRM is beneficial).

  • Maintain accurate records, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Stay up to date with trends in market research, enterprise data solutions, digital sampling, and recruitment technologies .

About You

  • 10+ years' experience in B2B business development or sales (market research, SaaS, data solutions or related industries preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident delivering virtual and in-person product demos.

  • Hands-on experience running structured outbound campaigns across LinkedIn and email.

  • Comfortable working towards KPIs and managing a sales pipeline.

  • Organised, self-driven, and able to work autonomously.

  • Based in London or able to commute for office and event days.
