Job Summary:
The Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage network and security programs, ensuring the successful implementation and integration of Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of network and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Lead and manage multiple network and security programs from inception to completion.
- Develop program plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define program objectives and deliverables.
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and partners.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any deviations from the plan.
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvements for future projects.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in network and security technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in program management, with a focus on network and security.
- Proven experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
