Job Title: 1st Line IT Support Technician
Based: Head Office, St Mellons, Cardiff
Reports to: Business Intelligence Manager
If you are an experienced IT Support Technician or have the skills to support a busy IT Helpdesk then we may have the perfect role for you.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for first line technical support to internal employees ensuring service requests are dealt with in line with Helpdesk objectives and standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Products.
- Experience of using ticketing systems and meeting SLAs.
- The ability to manage your workload and prioritise issues.
- Be comfortable answering telephone calls from staff.
- Be able to explain technical details to non-technical staff.
- Setting up and configuring new laptops/ desktops/mobile phones/phones.
- Organizing couriers to bring in and send out equipment to field based staff.
- Accurately update the asset register.
- Good general IT problem solving skills.
- Able to pick up 3rd party software’s that support the business.
- Ensure issue fully investigated before escalating if necessary.
