The Role: Senior Business Development Manager
As a key member of the Business Development team, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth across the UK by selling premium Tax SaaS and Data Transformation solutions.
You’ll engage with senior stakeholders — Heads of Tax, Tax Directors, CFOs — and manage the full 360° sales cycle, from prospecting to close. This is a high-value, consultative sales role where your expertise and relationship-building skills will directly influence revenue and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, manage, and close new business opportunities
- Sell premium SaaS subscriptions and enterprise data licences
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation demos negotiation close
- Build long-term client relationships and identify expansion opportunities
- Attend industry events and client meetings (occasional European travel)
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets
About You
You’re a confident, driven, and commercially sharp B2B salesperson with a strong background in subscription or SaaS sales. You thrive in high-value, consultative environments and know how to engage senior decision-makers.
Ideally, you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in Enterprise Software Sales selling FinTech, SaaS, or professional services
- A track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling into Tax, FinTech, Legal, or related sectors
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience closing enterprise or multi-user licence deals
- Confidence managing your own outbound pipeline
- Familiarity with Challenger, MEDDIC/MEDDPIC, or similar methodologies
- High levels of organisation, resilience, and commercial acumen
- Ambition, drive, and a genuine desire to progress your career
