Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer

A fast-growing technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to support a mix of cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. This role suits someone with strong 2nd/3rd line experience who thrives in varied technical environments and enjoys contributing to service improvement and cloud transformation.

• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud issues

• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid AD environments

• Configure and manage Intune, conditional access, device policies, and cloud security baselines

• Deliver on-site support, installs, and project work across servers, networks, and cloud platforms

• Maintain and improve on-prem infrastructure including Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, networking, and firewalls

• Assist with cloud migrations, tenant builds, modern workplace rollouts, and environment hardening

• Carry out daily checks across backups, monitoring tools, and cloud services

• Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and service desk evolution

• Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers

• 5+ years' experience across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem IT environments

• Strong background in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs

• Skilled in Azure AD, M365, Intune, and multi-tenant management

• Confident with Hyper-V/VMware, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall technologies

• Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Continuous cloud training and funded certifications
