Management Accountant

Join a growing software business shaping the future of digital experiences.

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, fully-remote tech company that’s building innovative products used by global brands, top universities, and creative professionals worldwide.

They’re now looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to support the next phase of their growth. Someone who’s excited to own the numbers, streamline processes, and turn insight into impact.

This is a remote role, with visits to their London HQ around once a quarter.

Why this role?

If you’re an experienced Management Accountant with a strong bookkeeping or operational finance background who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, this is an opportunity to make your mark.

You’ll be the finance lead within a lean, ambitious business. Partnering directly with the leadership team to ensure sound decision-making, financial discipline, and strategic clarity.

Expect variety, influence, and the freedom to define what “good” looks like.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and insightful financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: reconciliations, AP/AR, journals, and month-end tasks
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Assist with VAT, payroll support, and HMRC filings
  • Partner across the business to provide meaningful financial insights — highlighting both opportunities and risks

What we’re looking for

  • Strong foundation in management accounting or bookkeeping (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Ideally you’ll have some experience in an SMEor start-up. A software or tech environment would be nice
  • Commercial mindset and confidence engaging with senior leadership
  • Hands-on, proactive approach. You’ll be comfortable being the go-to finance person
  • A values-driven approach: clarity, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • An immediate start or short notice would be ideal

What you’ll get

This business believes autonomy drives excellence and they back it up with a supportive, flexible environment.

You’ll get:

  • 25 days’ paid holiday + flexible working hours
  • Private healthcare & matched pension
  • Remote-first setup with home-office allowance
  • Wellness and professional development budgets
  • A voice in shaping the business and its growth strategy

If you want your work to directly influence how a tech business grows, this is that role. Apply now to discuss the opportunity in confidence.
