IT Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT Technician to join a well-established organisation that values professionalism, development, and long-term stability.   • Location: Oxford
  • Salary: £28,000 – £30,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and users across hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Support and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and core business applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to networks, connectivity, printers, and user accounts
  • Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, device rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
  • Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and user guides in line with best practice

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an IT support or IT Technician role
  • Good working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking principles
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user-related issues
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests effectively
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (desirable but not essential)
