Business Analyst - OTC Derivatives / Futures & Clearing

A leading global financial institution is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to support large-scale change initiatives across their Futures and OTC Clearing technology landscape. This role plays a key part in enhancing next-generation clearing platforms and requires strong domain knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex global projects across the clearing technology ecosystem.
• Analyse business processes, define requirements, and drive implementation of new functionality.
• Provide subject-matter expertise across development and implementation phases.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business and technology groups.
• Document solutions, manage testing, and ensure system readiness.
• Assess risks, support compliance, and maintain transparent reporting on issues.

Essential Experience

• 15+ years' experience within Futures and OTC Clearing.
• Strong background in ETD trade processing, lifecycle workflows, fees, and brokerage.
• Hands-on experience with FIA systems, FIS GMI, and ION XTP.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Python, and knowledge of SQL.
• Experienced in SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery.
• Proven stakeholder management and senior-level communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
