The Digital Support and Implementation Teams are responsible for the implementation, development and on-going management of a number of "cutting-edge" computer systems supporting the Trust's Digital Strategy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Digital Support and Implementation Team for the vacant post of Clinical Systems Training Officer.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the qualifications or experience and knowledge for delivering end-user training. The successful candidate will be able to describe the knowledge and skills they possess that will contribute to the Digital Clinical Systems Training Team and the service it provides.

The successful candidate will also manage the small Training Administration team and the service it provides.

Main duties of the job

You will need to demonstrate the ability to work within a team with shared goals, and be able to meet strict deadlines. The ability to work without supervision and under your own initiative is also essential.

Required to travel between hospital sites and venues outside of Trust as and when required. A flexible working pattern may be required, with an element of homeworking, influenced by workload.

Person Specification

Education/ Qualifications

Essential
  • Post holder will be qualified to diploma or have equivalent NHS experience in a relevant discipline such as a clinical systems user or in an educational role
  • ECDL Advanced level

Knowledge, Training & Experience

Essential
  • Experience user of Digital Systems and/or Practical training delivery experience.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft office applications
Desirable
  • Previous NHS experience in a relevant Healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of Digital systems and/or Practical training delivery experience

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Essential
  • Effective electronic, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
