Workday HRIS Analyst

As a member of the HR Operations Team, this vital role will support the continuing developments, system improvements and optimisations of our HRIS system, whilst acting as the go-to expert supporting day-to-day operations. In additional, collaboration with IT and the project team is a critical element of this role.

About the role

  • You'll be the first point of contact for all internal Workday queries.
  • Together with the HR Operations Manager, identify, resolve, and communicate system development and enhancements.
  • Liaise with the HR Operations Manager, to support BAU processes and operating models, maintaining up-to-date documentation of system configuration, processes and capabilities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency of HR processes to get the best out Workday.
  • Liaise with members of the HR team to identify the needed improvements to existing configuration and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
  • Own configuration and maintenance across core modules (HCM, Absence, recruitment, Talent etc.)
  • Working closely with our applications support team to troubleshoot and modify integrations with other internal and external systems.
  • Work closely with internal project team to support in managing internal support tickets and partner with external providers for escalations as necessary.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Implement updates from Workday releases.
  • Enhance reporting and dashboard capabilities.
  • Maintain data privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive HR data.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication and training to key stakeholders and users.
  • Be the system administrator, managing user access, ensuring that internal security framework is adhered to.
  • Conduct regular data audits and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

About you

  • Proven hands-on experience with Workday, ideally with 2-4 years' experience with HCM, Absence and recruitment modules.
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with external Workday/AMS partners.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and an understanding of HR data/processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and analysing HR data.
  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with reporting, audits, and change governance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and Workday reporting experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-functional or global Workday environments would be an advantage.
  • Experience with Power BI integration and reporting would be an advantage.
