Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Model: On-site, Full-time

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Performance Related Bonus

An established IT services provider is looking for a customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join its growing technical team. This role is primarily office-based, delivering remote support to a wide client base, with occasional on-site assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote and occasional on-site IT support to business clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Configure and support Windows devices, servers, and peripherals
• Assist with networking equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based services
• Carry out system maintenance and preventative support tasks

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar IT support role (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft technologies
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Microsoft 365 and Azure experience
• Active Directory / Azure AD administration and Group Policy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• UK Driving License is required

• Windows Server (2016-2022)
• Hyper-V virtualisation
• Intune, Apple, or Meraki MDM
• Apple device support
• Backup and disaster recovery
