1st Line Support Engineer
Nicholas Howard are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join a growing professional services client, providing in-house 1st Line support to staff across multiple locations in the UK. We are looking for candidates with a sound foundation in IT Support, including desktops and mobile devices, Windows Server, basic networking, and some experience with Active Directory, among any further skills.
Alongside the technical skills, excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, and you will be supporting users in person, over the phone, and via remote sessions. Experience working with a Service Desk / Service Management tool or ticketing system will be very very beneficial, as well as good documentation skills to manage escalations.
This role presents a great opportunity for a support technician looking to join a growing and professional environment, working as part of a larger centralised support team with the chance for further progression and development. The role will be predoinantly on site 4 days p/week, with 1 day p/week from home, and potential occasional travel to other sites in the South East.
