Provide is hiring on behalf of a Consulting business in Milton Keynes that focuses on delivering high-value technology and transformation projects for their clients. They are seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to lead their financial operations and become a key strategic advisor to the Directors. This is a pivotal role for someone ready to drive change and build best-in-class financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
You will ensure robust financial management, reporting, compliance, and strategic guidance, including:
- Preparing and signing off on monthly management accounts.
- Producing cash flow forecasts and managing budgeting and 3-year forecasting.
- Providing financial insight for strategic decision-making.
- Supporting client activities like project profitability analysis and reviewing pricing strategies.
- Overseeing accounts, payroll, banking, VAT returns, and HMRC filings (with external accountants).
- Managing and developing junior finance staff.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role, preferably in professional or consultancy services.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, VAT, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in cloud-based finance systems (Xero or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
