IT Support Apprentice
Are you passionate about technology and eager to start your career in IT? We’re looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience supporting a range of clients with their IT needs in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the first point of contact for technical issues, learning how to diagnose and resolve common problems. You’ll receive full training and support to build your knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Responding to support queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Logging and updating support tickets accurately
- Assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Resetting passwords and helping with account access
- Installing updates and basic configuration of devices
- Supporting users with Microsoft Office 365 and common applications
- Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers when necessary
- Maintaining clear documentation of issues and resolutions
What we’re looking for:
- A strong passion for IT and technology
- A basic understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and general networking principles
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to follow guidance and processes
- Based in the East Midlands (preferably Leicester)
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (desirable)
Additionally, the following experience would be beneficial:
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, or Windows Server
- Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, ITIL principles, or RMM tools
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break
