We're on the hunt for a self-motivated, solution-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a 3rd Line Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for advanced troubleshooting, system maintenance, and project-based infrastructure tasks. You'll work closely with our IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless support across the business.

*What you’ll be doing:*
* Providing expert 3rd line support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs
* Supporting and maintaining core systems including backups, monitoring tools, and documentation
* Playing a key role in infrastructure projects, working closely with the Infrastructure Team Leader
* Monitoring system health and performance, identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate
* Acting as a technical lead during major incidents and contributing to post-incident reviews

*What we’re looking for:*
* Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing), virtualisation (VMware), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, 365)
* Experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, backup solutions (e.g. Veeam), and endpoint security tools
* A “security-first” mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms
* Flexibility to work shifts and travel to remote sites when needed (a driving licence and own vehicle are desirable)
