Group Management Accountant

Reed Finance is delighted to be partnering with an innovative, fast-growing international organisation to recruit an ambitious and technically strong Group Management Accountant.

Sitting within a high-performing Group Finance function, this role is integral to delivering accurate, timely financial information across multiple global entities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of group month-end processes, consolidated management reporting, and key areas of balance-sheet control, playing a crucial role in strengthening financial governance as the business continues to scale.

This is an exceptional opportunity, ideally suited to a newly qualified accountant looking to step into a hands-on, commercially focused role with international exposure, genuine progression prospects, and the chance to help shape a growing finance operation.

Duties Include:

  • Lead the month-end close process across multiple group entities
  • Produce monthly consolidated management accounts to tight reporting deadlines
  • Prepare and review month-end journals
  • Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and take ownership of assigned control areas
  • Oversee credit control and escalate collection issues where required
  • Prepare revenue-recognition schedules and associated journals
  • Support group audit processes, responding to auditor queries
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, documentation, and processes in partnership with senior finance leadership
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure accurate financial inputs
  • Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital analysis
  • Provide insightful reporting to support commercial decision-making
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and wider group initiatives

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and confidence owning end-to-end processes
  • Demonstrable month-end experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Evidence of systems or process improvements
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to operate in detail while maintaining awareness of the wider commercial picture
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across teams
  • Proactive, organised, and resilient

Desirable:

  • Multi-entity consolidated accounting experience
  • Exposure to multi-currency environments
  • Experience using BI tools
  • SaaS or Tech experience/knowledge

Salary and Benefits:

This Group Management Accountant position offers a Salary of £55,000pa (DOE), hybrid working and an attractive benefits package.
