Repairs Administrator
About the Role
Seeking a highly organised and proactive Technical Administrator to join a busy department and repair centre. This is a key support role within the operations team, ensuring the smooth running of administrative and technical coordination tasks, including customer communication, equipment booking, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming telephone calls and emails from clients and suppliers in a professional and efficient manner.
- Raise and process invoices in line with company procedures.
- Book equipment into the centre and coordinate the scheduling of site visits for engineers.
- Liaise with customers to confirm job details, provide updates, and ensure a high level of service.
- Maintain internal databases and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of jobs, equipment, and documentation.
- Chase subcontractors for job status updates, quotes, and timely return of completed work.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a technical, engineering, or service-based environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); training on internal software will be provided.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
