2nd Line IT Support Engineer

SR2 are helping to recruit an experience 2nd Line Engineer for one of our Manchester based clients. The client is an established and award-winning managed service provider and are looking to grow their team. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to work in a supportive, hands-on environment, then this could be the role for you.

Role:
  • Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical problems as needed
  • Support system rollouts, upgrades, and improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365
  • Good understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup tools
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
