SeeByte, the global market leader in the development of smart software for uncrewed maritime systems, are looking to recruit an Office Manager, with a focus on providing efficient day-to-day support to our Operations Department, based in the Bristol office. The Office Manager will be dedicated to coordinating efforts and helping to achieve a consistent way of working across the business.

Development will be provided through a combination of on-the-job and external training, and the responsibilities of the post-holder will rapidly increase. This role is fast-paced and responsive and a great opportunity for an individual who is highly motivated and enjoys learning.
Due to the nature of this role, daily office attendance is required, and it is not eligible for remote or hybrid working. SeeByte’s main office is in Edinburgh and occasional, reimbursed travel will be required.

Main Purpose of the Role
The Office Manager is a highly organised individual that can effectively plan and prioritise their workload. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, they have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and customers. Accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- A range of clerical tasks, examples include inputting and processing data; filing; preparing reports; scanning documents
- Ensuring that administration is processed and completed accurately, efficiently and in the timescale required to support the team
- You will support the management of facilities at Bristol and take ownership for driving improvements.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries and visitors in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable way
- You will take ownership of multiple people processes (e.g. on and off boarding processes; absence management) and ensure employees mandatory training programmes are defined and maintained
- Generation of people letters and support with logistics and planning of key people initiatives
- Preparing invoicing for customers
- Maintaining and ordering office supplies, co-ordinating office spaces and meeting rooms and associated catering
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Raising and tracking purchase orders
- Health and Safety Support; Fire assessments and First Aid
- Supporting the supply chain management process
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to confidently use Excel to organise and analyse data
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- Planning and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to problem solve and take a solution focused approach to tasks
- Good general IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in an Office Management role.
- Management of internal business improvement projects.
- A grade C or above in English and Maths at A-Level or equivalent.
- A business administration or accounting related A-Level would be an advantage.
