Business Development Manager – Remote / Hybrid

Home, client meetings and 1 day a week in the office - Office location is Hampshire / Berkshire area however we are completely open to your location.

Base £50000 +, car allowance and upcapped OTE ( anticipated £70k-£80k)

I am delighted to be exclusively retained by a long-standing client of mine, a well-established, customer centric, SME SaaS provider, who through positive change and exciting growth plans for 2025, are now looking for a new Business Developer to join the team.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join the growing team.

An excellent opportunity for a polished, experienced and successful consultative Business Development Manager to really make a positive impact for the continued success of the company.

My client is a rapidly growing, market leader from within its field. They have continued to grow year on year but still focused on getting bigger and better.

Job Role:

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through to close that facilitate the UK expansion of services

Manage the entire sales process from lead generation, presentation, and contractual negotiations.

To develop strong relationships with key decision makers through regular contact, dialogue, meetings and networking with key influences.

Work with colleagues and the product development team to ensure co-ordinated approaches to target opportunities that allows the effective delivery of solutions to the client

Maintain long term client relationships at the senior levels within client and prospect base

Provide management information on pipeline, activity and overall sales performance in a timely manner in predefined format and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the market place.

Provide timely and accurate feedback on market intelligence, competitor activity, including pricing and promotions

Attend exhibitions and industry seminars when required, with a particular emphasis on networking with key decision makers or activity that supports lead generation.

Qualities

Experience at selling a SaaS product.

Good interpersonal relationship skills and comfortable and communicating at all levels internally and externally;

A good strategic thinker, able to analyse business opportunities and develop an appropriate sales plan.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment where priorities often conflict;

Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail with an ability to interpret information to derive business outcomes or solutions;

Experience at managing third party partners where contact with the end client needs to be established and managed

Strong drive, flexible, can do attitude;

Confident in board room situation with good presentation skills
