Database Officer
Database Officer
Location: London Office, Remote working option available
I'm working with a leading charity as they look to appoint a Database Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day running, support, and continuous improvement of their Beacon CRM system. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the organisation's data and digital capability, supporting colleagues across multiple teams to use CRM data effectively, confidently, and compliantly.
As Database Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for CRM users, providing high-quality support and training that enables people to do their jobs better. You'll ensure the system remains robust, secure, and performant, while also taking ownership of data quality-making sure records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Beyond BAU support, you'll contribute to CRM improvement projects that enhance processes, integrate new systems, and unlock greater value from data. You'll work closely with the Database Lead, a community of CRM superusers, and colleagues across the organisation to translate real operational needs into practical system improvements.
Skills required for the Database Officer are:
- Experience supporting working with Beacon CRM
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage, prioritise, and manage competing requests
- Experience delivering or supporting system training and producing user-friendly documentation
- Confidence working with data quality, data processing, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A user-centred, inclusive approach, with an understanding of accessibility and equity consideration
