Senior Business Analyst

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and design of business processes and systems that support our strategic objectives. This role will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and delivered effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across the business.
  • Analyse complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed changes.
  • Support system configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation to support change initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business analysis best practices.

We’d love to hear from someone that:

  • Has proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a senior or lead role.
  • Has relevant experience / exposure to working in a payroll and EOR environment
  • Possesses strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Is skilled in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Has excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Is proficient in tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar. Experience with Azure DevOps and Miro a plus.
  • Understands system integration and data flows.
  • Has strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Can manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., BCS Business Analysis, IIBA certification) or equivalent experience.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for clear documentation and presentations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Tools Proficiency: Knowledge of BA tools (e.g., Visio, Jira, Confluence) and MS Office Suite.
