National IT Assistant

Want to join Aldi’s National IT Team? We’re looking for a National IT Assistant to provide on-site, end user support to the Managing Directors and National Board Members.

Your New Role

  • Deliver VIP-level IT support specialising in iPad and iPhone devices for senior management.
  • Support senior leadership onsite 5 days a week, including facilitating meetings and ensuring immediate IT assistance.
  • Optimise workflows for video conferencing and presentation tools.
  • Train and share best practices on iOS device support/troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical, organizational, and administrative support to the NIT department and Directors.
  • Prepare presentations and training materials for senior leadership.
  • Manage IT assets, including orders, repairs, and warranty claims.
  • Ensure compliance with ALDI security policies.
  • Coordinate with external service providers, auditors, and relevant bodies.
  • Adhere to ALDI GB & IE Code of Conduct.

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience providing high-quality IT support in corporate settings.
  • Expertise supporting senior management and resolving VIP IT issues rapidly.
  • Advanced knowledge of iOS devices and software; proficient in Windows and Microsoft 365.
  • Helpdesk experience and flexibility to handle urgent issues outside office hours.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience with business software, cybersecurity awareness, Microsoft Teams Meeting Room, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems.
