Interim Workday Financial Systems Manager
Global Accounting Network are partnering with an international technology client who are looking for an interim Workday Finance Systems Manager on an initial interim contract. As the Workday Finance Systems Manager, this role reports into the Transformation Director and is responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimisation of the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance Systems team
- Provide technical support for core finance processes
- Hold regular check-ins with key users and stakeholders
- Stay informed on Workday updates and ensure the business is prepared for changes
- Recommend and implement system enhancements to support Finance and wider business needs
- Run pilot programmes for new functionality, engaging Finance team members in key roles
- Optimise processes to deliver measurable improvements
- Communicate system changes clearly and promptly to users
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive user training strategy
- Manage relationships with external Workday support providers
Ideal Candidate
- Workday Financials certification
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience leading teams in a global environment
- Demonstrated success in driving best-practice outcomes using Workday
