Finance Operations Manager

We are working with a purpose led lifestyle group that brings together creativity, sustainability and wellbeing across a collection of distinctive brands and experiences.

As part of a major finance transformation, the business is implementing Microsoft Business Central and now requires a Finance Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end transformation of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash to sales reconciliation processes.

This is a 12-month fixed term role based on-site in Kingham, offering the opportunity to deliver meaningful change within a values driven organisation.

The opportunity

This role sits at the heart of the group’s ERP implementation and financial evolution. You will ensure clean, accurate data migration, streamlined processes and compliance with robust financial controls.

It is a hands-on, project focused position suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in shaping how finance operates in a growing, purpose led organisation.

What you will do

• Lead the cleansing of vendor and customer master data to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Validate and reconcile legacy data prior to migration into Business Central

• Develop and maintain data quality and governance standards

• Review and redesign AP and AR workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Enhance sales to cash reconciliations to ensure financial integrity

• Identify and introduce automation opportunities to reduce manual processes

• Collaborate with ERP project teams to define and test AP and AR requirements

• Support user acceptance testing and team training for new processes

• Partner with finance, procurement, sales and IT to ensure smooth system integration

• Maintain strong financial controls and prepare audit ready documentation

What we are looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Proven experience leading AP and AR transformation within ERP implementations, ideally Microsoft Business Central

• Strong understanding of data management and cleansing principles

• Deep knowledge of financial controls, compliance and best practice

• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

• Collaborative and confident engaging with senior stakeholders

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
