The Opportunity
We are working on behalf of a well-established UK organisation operating within the IT infrastructure and services sector. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Customer Service Advisor / Sales Co-ordinator to join their busy and collaborative team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and handling a variety of administrative and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders and supporting sales administration activities
- Managing a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and email
- Administration of import/export documentation and related procedures
- Liaising with domestic and international couriers, including invoice and query checking
- Supporting stock holding, distribution, and on-site projects
- Handling customer complaints and escalating issues where required
- Managing daily post, internal mail, paperwork, and archiving
- Ordering stationery and office supplies
- Working closely with senior managers and key internal stakeholders
- Providing general office and commercial administration support as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role (preferred)
- Experience with import/export or customs procedures is advantageous
- GCSE Maths and English (A–C) or equivalent
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment
