Network Systems Engineer

On-site | Full-time | 9–5

We are looking for an experienced Network Systems/ Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing and well-invested IT function within a large, modern on-site environment designed to support collaboration, autonomy, and work–life balance.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being a technical expert, contributing to projects, and working in a low-stress, non-micromanaged environment where you can genuinely leave work at the door at 5pm.

The Role

You will operate as part of a small, skilled senior team, providing 3rd line support and delivering project work as required. A key focus of the role will be supporting and shaping a hybrid infrastructure, including the ongoing migration of services into the cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Delivering 3rd line support across a Microsoft-based environment
  • Leading and contributing to infrastructure and cloud migration projects
  • Supporting and optimising a hybrid Azure and on-prem environment
  • Taking ownership of Intune configuration, management, and optimisation
  • Working closely with the wider IT team to maintain high service standards

Technology Environment

  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Windows Server & Desktop
  • Purview
  • Microsoft Intune
    (hands-on expertise essential, including setup and configuration)
  • Azure (hybrid cloud environment)
  • SCCM (desirable)
