Role: 1st Line Support Engineer Location: Buckingham, Buckinghamshire Model: On-site Salary: Up to £28,000
Overview
Our client is an award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP), recognised for delivering high-quality IT support and exceptional customer service. They are seeking a motivated 1st Line Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support and act as the first point of contact for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote office support to end users
- Log and manage incidents and service requests via a ticketing system
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Perform basic Active Directory user administration
- Support hardware, peripherals, and meeting room technology
- Escalate complex issues to 2nd line teams with clear documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain SLA standards
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a 1st Line IT Support role (MSP exposure beneficial)
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Basic Active Directory experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- UK Driving License Required
Desirable Skills
- MSP environment experience
- Basic networking knowledge
- ITIL or entry-level IT certifications
