Commercial Analyst

Robert Half Technology are assisting a technology and advisory firm to recruit a Commercial Analyst. Hybrid working. London based.

• The Commercial Analyst will work closely with Data and Revenue Operations teams to drive commercial performance through data-led insights.

• Extract, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify revenue trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track revenue performance, sales effectiveness, and core business KPIs.

• Support revenue forecasting, scenario planning, and pricing strategy through robust financial and commercial modelling.

• Partner with stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and operations to enable data-driven decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and automation across the business.

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that support business growth and efficiency.

• The Commercial Analyst will have strong experience in data analysis, financial modelling, and commercial reporting.

• Advanced Excel and SQL skills are essential; experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of revenue drivers, pricing strategies, and commercial performance metrics.

• Proven ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders across finance, sales, marketing, and operations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into strategic insight.

• Experience within SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or a fast-paced commercial environment is advantageous.
