Data Analyst

This is a collaborative, hands-on environment where teams work closely together on-site.The Role An experienced Data Analyst is required to support operational and leadership teams by turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and seeing the direct impact of their work across the business.Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse operational, preparation and service-centre data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
  • Process-map the end-to-end operational journey, highlighting inefficiencies and areas for enhancement
  • Build, maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports to support real-time decision making
  • Work closely with leadership and operational teams to deliver actionable insights that drive performance and profitability
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across multiple systems
  • Identify gaps in current systems and data usage, supporting business cases for improvement
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within retail or manufacturing
  • Advanced Power BI experience (2+ years essential)
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate full databases
  • Strong Excel capability
  • Experience analysing large, complex datasets
  • Confident data visualisation skills
  • An inquisitive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical insight for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Bonus (not essential):
  • Python experience
  • Exposure to project management or change initiatives
