IT Support Apprentice
To develop an all-round awareness of IT and the way the IT function supports SWR business processes and goals, while gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, hardware and software maintenance, and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day IT operations.
Role
- Attendance at sites to investigate and support the resolution of technical issues
- Supporting the Telecoms activities building and deploying mobile devices
- Working with project management activities of IT projects
- Supporting the technical licensing requirements
- Assisting the IT Security team improving the SWR IT security position, including compliance monitoring, investigation of issues, reporting and developing IT Security policy and process
- Helping the IT Infrastructure team to build and maintain servers both on premise and cloud
